The children explored using the Bee-Bots for the very first time! They worked with a treasure map and chose a picture where they wanted the Bee-Bot to land. Before programming, we planned the route together using arrow cards to show each step the Bee-Bot would need to take. Once the plan was complete, the children entered the instructions into the Bee-Bot and watched it travel across the map to the chosen spot. They quickly understood if it was programmed incorrectly, it would take the wrong route. This helped them develop sequencing, problem solving and debugging skills in a fun, hands-on way.
