We were very lucky to get a visit from a local Brantry farmer, John Downey. John showed us a video of all the hard work that takes place on his farm. We asked him lots of questions and learned lots of new things about the farm from his answers. It was very interesting listening to John talk about how farming has changed down through the years. John came to school on his tractor, with a bale of hay and a bag of potatoes in the link box. The children had a photo opportunity with his Massey 135. A big thank you to John for his wonderful visit!!
