The children have been very busy over the last few weeks, engaging in lots of exciting learning activities. They have been exploring rhyming words and listening carefully to hear which words sound the same, while also sorting and identifying syllables in different words. P1s have started phonics and have been introduced to their first sound. As part of their topic “All About Us” the children have enjoyed talking about their families, and things that make them unique. They’ve also been developing their counting skills, learning to count accurately and match numbers to quantities. Bingo has been a big hit, the children love playing this game! It’s been a wonderful few weeks of fun and learning!
